Micro Pitch

Below are two samples of micro-pitches, written for a short-form pitch content in the web3/technology sector.

Micropitch Sample 1:

Picture this: it’s 2022. We live in a world ruled by online content – brilliant content that comes from all sorts of places, created by all sorts of people, covering all sorts of topics. Online content that lies at the core of social life, entertainment, and pop culture.

And yet, the same few companies mitigate and own all this content. And their policies aren’t fair to the creators who populate the very platforms that make them so successful. These platforms – that are “free” to use come with the invisible price of having total control over content monetization, ownership, viralization, and moderation. What happens to a creator’s livelihood when a platform arbitrarily demonetizes their content? Or, worse, shuts down? It’s 2022 – and frankly, the creator economy continues to be held back by archaic platforms left over from the .com era. It’s time for a change.

My name is {name}, and I work for a company called eVerse. eVerse is a new entertainment platform looking to disrupt the social media and online content industry by bringing the creator economy up to speed with modern technology, and by putting power back into the hands of creators. It’s a beautifully designed video streaming app (picture YouTube, but with a much-needed visual update), with more advanced, web3-backed capabilities – like enhanced content ownership, revenue distribution, and IP management. At eVerse, we believe that content ownership and monetization need to be more transparent and fairer to creators. So we’re building to change that.

Micropitch Sample 2:

Have you ever taken a second to think about how far technology hasn’t come? It’s 2022. We live in a world where cars can drive themselves, and yet, most big tech platforms continue to offer the bare minimum. From poorly designed UX/UI, to limited utility, and shady policies and algorithms that only serve advertisers, big tech platforms as they currently stand are archaic.

My name is {name}, and I work for a company called eVerse. eVerse is a new entertainment platform looking to build the web of tomorrow. We’re starting by disrupting the social media and online content industry by bringing the creator economy up to speed with modern technology, and by putting power back into the hands of creators. eVerse a beautifully designed video streaming app (picture YouTube, but with a much-needed visual update), with more advanced, web3-backed capabilities – like enhanced content ownership, revenue distribution, and IP management. At eVerse, we believe there’s a better, more fair, and more beautiful social-media experience to be had for everyone.  And we’re building to change that.
